CBN (cannabinol) is one of the most abundant cannabinoids in cannabis. It is formed through the gradual conversion of THC, which occurs under the influence of heat, air, and light.

It is the very first plant-based cannabinoid that scientists have successfully isolated.

Current evidence suggests that CBN does not cause significant intoxication. While some studies acknowledge the possibility of very mild psychoactive effects, these are significantly weaker than those of THC.
